Ilo Neukam is an accomplished marketing expert and founder of The Collective. With over 18 years of experience, Ilo has carved an indelible mark as a true leader in the marketing industry, earning trust and respect from both clients and peers for her strategic mindset and strong work ethic.

In 2023, Ilo bolstered her already vast experience by earning an MBA from UC San Diego’s Rady School of Management, further honing her mastery in marketing and strategy. While there she was elected as the Vice President of Marketing for the Rady Technology Club and accepted as a Venture Fellow in the Rady MBA Program. Additionally, she was selected as a member of Vistage on Campus, an affiliation with the international CEO membership group – Vistage.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Ilo has been honored with the prestigious Junior League of San Diego’s President’s Award not once, but twice, a distinction shared by only three women in the League’s 94-year history. Her remarkable leadership as Executive Vice President during the challenging times of the pandemic demonstrated her exceptional ability to navigate obstacles with skill and finesse. Under her guidance, the League successfully executed a programming and fundraising pivot, while astutely reducing operational expenses. In 2024, Ilo is slated to assume the role of President, marking a new chapter in her leadership within the Junior League.

Ilo’s talents have been acknowledged externally as well, as she was a winner of San Diego Business Journal’s “Next Top Business Leaders Under 40” in 2022 and the prestigious “Leaders of Influence in Advertising, PR & Marketing” award in 2023.

With a passion for mentorship and thought leadership, Ilo actively extends her influence to inspire and uplift others. Her mentorship roles in programs and organizations like the Junior League of San Diego, High Tech Middle School, and School for Entrepreneurship and Technology (SET High School) have been transformative for those she guides. Moreover, her valuable insights have been sought after as a guest speaker at San Diego StartUp Week, San Diego State University’s College of Extended Studies, and the Junior League’s Training Talks: Professional Development Masterclass series.
